How to convert a PDF
Choose or drop the file. A PDF can become JPG or PNG images, one per page at 150 dpi, or a .txt file of its text. Photos in JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF become one PDF with an image on each A4 page, and a text file becomes a PDF on A4 pages with 2 cm margins.
Choose Convert and download the result: one image, or every image in one ZIP file when the PDF has several pages. The table under the converter says what converts here, where to go for more choices, and what does not convert here at all.
Worked example
A 12-page bank statement as a PDF: choose PNG images, convert, and download statement-images.zip with statement-01.png to statement-12.png, each page at 150 dpi.
Before you rely on the result
One PDF of up to 200 MB, up to 100 images or a text file of up to 5 MB at a time. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-book files do not convert here, and a PDF does not become an editable Word file here; the table says what to do instead. Scanned pages have no text to take out without OCR. Text in letters outside the PDF's built-in font, such as Greek, Hebrew or Hindi, goes into the PDF as a picture of the text. A PDF locked with a password has to be unlocked first. Nothing is uploaded.
