How this conversion works

Convert Fahrenheit to Celsius by subtracting 32 and multiplying by 5/9. Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit by multiplying by 9/5 and adding 32.

The second line rounds the converted temperature to your chosen dial step. An optional recipe-specified reduction is applied in Celsius before conversion.

Before you use the result

This converts set temperatures, not bake times or food temperatures. Gas marks, air-fryer timing and universal fan adjustments are not estimated. Nonzero numeric inputs for these compound calculations are limited to 1e-40 through 1e40.
