Using Net carb calculator
Subtract fiber and your chosen share of sugar alcohols from a total-carbohydrate amount.
Net = total − fiber − alcohols × selected fraction. Label definitions vary, and there is no single universal net-carb method. Use a total that includes fiber and alcohols; no dietary, diabetes or insulin-dosing conclusion is provided.
A worked example
Example inputs: total carbohydrate (g) = 30, dietary fiber (g) = 5, sugar alcohols (g) = 10, sugar-alcohol percentage to subtract = 50. Net carbohydrates under chosen subtraction = 20.

Example results for total carbohydrate (g)
These examples use Dietary fiber (g): 5; Sugar alcohols (g): 10; Sugar-alcohol percentage to subtract: 50. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Total carbohydrate (g) | Net carbohydrates under chosen subtraction |
|---|---|
| 15 | 5 |
| 30 | 20 |
| 60 | 50 |
