Using Budget calculator
Remaining budget = income − expenses − savings target. A negative amount is a shortfall.
Use one consistent period and currency, and income available after tax. This is a cash allocation worksheet, not advice about how much to save.
A worked example
With income for the period = 4000, expenses for the same period = 3200, savings target = 500, the remaining after savings is 300.00 (rounded to two decimal places).
Before you use the result
Use one consistent period and currency, and income available after tax. This is a cash allocation worksheet, not advice about how much to save. Calculations keep full browser-number precision. Money amounts are displayed to two decimal places; other results use up to 12 significant digits. Very large values may lose precision.
