Using What if I invested calculator
Reconstruct a hypothetical investment from the actual prices, share splits and cash dividends you supply.
No ticker, historical price feed or investment recommendation is implied. Fractional shares are allowed in the model. Use unadjusted purchase and later prices with the split multiplier; using split-adjusted prices as well would count splits twice. Dividends are cash per original share and are not reinvested. Taxes, inflation, rights issues and other corporate actions are excluded.
A worked example
For hypothetical investment amount = 1000, original purchase price per share = 20, later price per share = 30, total share-split multiplier = 1, cash dividends received per original share = 2, total buy/sell fees = 0, hypothetical ending value = 1,600.00.
