Formula and assumptions

This is a what-if projection, not a historical CPI lookup. No actual inflation rate is supplied. Negative rates model deflation. Fixed assumptions only: no taxes, fees, changing returns, guarantees or product eligibility. Amounts share one currency.

Automatic precision shows money to two decimal places and other numbers to 12 significant digits. Thousands separators such as 1,000 are accepted; use a dot for decimals.
