Sharing and starting over

A copied link includes what you entered and your settings, so anyone with it can see them. Leave private text out. Files and results are not included; random draws are made again.

Start over puts the tool back to its starting values and closes any open file or device. Drafts you saved stay on this device until you delete them.

How to crop a PDF

Choose the PDF and type how much to cut off the top, bottom, left and right, in millimeters or inches; a picture of the page shows the part that stays inside a frame. Find the white margins measures them on the page shown and fills in the four boxes for you.

Leave the pages box empty to crop every page by the same margins, or type or tap the pages to crop. A page stored sideways is cropped the way you see it, and the rest of each page is copied as it is.

Worked example

An A4 page, 210 × 297 mm, with 20 mm cut off each side keeps 170 × 257 mm: the text block without its white border.

Before you rely on the result

One PDF of up to 200 MB at a time. Cropping sets the part of each page that PDF readers show and print: what lies outside is hidden, not deleted, and editing software can show it again, so cropping is not a way to remove private details. A PDF locked with a password has to be unlocked first. Nothing is uploaded.
