Baggage size checker processes your input in this browser. Inputs and results are excluded from analytics. Recent tools save tool names, visit counts and last-visit times. Saved tools store only their names. Draft saving is optional and stays on this device; delete saved text with the draft controls. Loading text from a URL is optional and contacts that server; its URL and your IP address are visible to the server. An optional “Use in” action keeps a handoff in this tab. The next tool removes it on arrival and ignores it if more than a minute has passed.

These are hypothetical example limits, not an airline policy. Use one unit throughout. For a linear-size rule, the limit is the sum of the three dimensions.

How this conversion works

For a per-side rule, the checker sorts both dimension lists so a rotated bag can fit, then compares corresponding sides. It reports any dimension that exceeds your entered allowance.

For a linear-size rule, it adds length, width and height. The result compares only the numbers you enter; it does not look up an airline.

A worked example

For a 20 × 14 × 9 bag and an entered allowance of 22 × 14 × 9, each corresponding side is within the limit. The bag’s linear size is 43.

Before you use the result

No airline rules are stored. Check the current policy for your ticket and flight. Shape, weight, handles, wheels and airline measurement can still affect acceptance. Nonzero numeric inputs for these compound calculations are limited to 1e-40 through 1e40.
