Choose a quantity before its units

Choose the kind of quantity before choosing units. Each category keeps its own definitions: temperature uses an offset, fuel economy uses reciprocals, and data sizes distinguish decimal from binary prefixes.

Choose the measurement type first, then the from and to units. Use the other-units table to compare the same value without retyping it.
