Fit the size your form asks for
Enter the maximum file size and choose KB or KiB. A KB is 1,000 bytes; a KiB is 1,024 bytes. The displayed byte count comes from the actual download. A 50 KB limit means no more than 50,000 bytes, not exactly that many bytes.
For a form that needs both a file-size range and fixed dimensions, open Form requirements and format. Enter its minimum, width and height. Fit adds borders; Crop fills the box by cutting off edges. Exact dimensions are never reduced to meet the size limit.
The tool tries JPEG or WebP quality settings before reducing dimensions, if you allow it. PNG has no quality slider. An unreachable range produces an explanation instead of a download. Preview small text and faces before submitting.
A worked example
For a maximum of 20 KB, the exported file must be at most 20,000 bytes. If the form also asks for 200 × 230 pixels, turn on exact dimensions and enter those values. These are example settings, not requirements from a particular form.
Before you use the result
Still JPEG, PNG and WebP only, up to 20 MB (20,000,000 bytes), 16 million pixels and 8192 pixels per side. SVG, GIF, HEIC, documents and animations are rejected. EXIF metadata, including location, is removed. Files are processed on your device and are not uploaded or saved by this tool. Browser encoding may change colors. Increasing dimensions does not add detail. No padding bytes or guarantee of form acceptance.
