Using Pool volume calculator
Find volume for a rectangular pool with a floor sloping uniformly from one end to the other.
Volume = length × width × (shallow depth + deep depth)/2. Dimensions share one unit. Steps, ledges, curved sides and nonlinear floor profiles require separate volume adjustments.
A worked example
Example inputs: internal length = 10, internal width = 4, shallow-end water depth = 1, deep-end water depth = 2. Rectangular pool volume = 60.
Before you use the result
Volume = length × width × (shallow depth + deep depth)/2. Dimensions share one unit. Steps, ledges, curved sides and nonlinear floor profiles require separate volume adjustments.
Example results for internal length
These examples use Internal width: 4; Shallow-end water depth: 1; Deep-end water depth: 2. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Internal length | Rectangular pool volume |
|---|---|
| 5 | 30 |
| 10 | 60 |
| 20 | 120 |
