Using IQ percentile calculator
Calculate the percentile implied by a normal distribution with the test mean and standard deviation you enter.
This is a mathematical model, not an IQ test or a claim that every test uses mean 100 and standard deviation 15. Use your test manual and its official norm tables where available. Extreme-tail estimates are particularly sensitive to the distribution assumption. No diagnostic or personal ability classification is made.
A worked example
For test score = 115, mean specified by the test = 100, standard deviation specified by the test = 15, modeled percentile = 84.134475.

Example results for test score
These examples use Mean specified by the test: 100; Standard deviation specified by the test: 15. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Test score | Modeled percentile |
|---|---|
| 57.5 | 0.230327 |
