How to convert force
Kilogram-force and pound-force use standard gravity. They are forces, not kilograms or pounds of mass.
Multiply by the source unit factor to get the base quantity, then divide by the target factor. The other-units table compares the same value without retyping it.
A worked example
1 kilogram-force = 9.80665 newtons.
