Using Scale calculator
Scale a length by a multiplier and see how area and volume change.
Scale means new length ÷ old length. For a 1:50 model, enter 0.02. Squared and cubed factors assume all dimensions scale equally.
A worked example
Example inputs: original length = 10, scale multiplier = 2. Scaled length = 20.
Before you use the result
Scale means new length ÷ old length. For a 1:50 model, enter 0.02. Squared and cubed factors assume all dimensions scale equally.
Example results for original length
These examples use Scale multiplier: 2. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Original length | Scaled length |
|---|---|
| 5 | 10 |
| 10 | 20 |
