Examples that do not point at a real public host
IPv4 examples use the three TEST-NET blocks. IPv6 examples start with 2001:db8. Random parts are generated locally; the tool never connects to an address.
A worked example
192.0.2.7 is an IPv4 documentation example. 2001:db8:0:0:0:0:0:7 is an IPv6 documentation example.
Before you use the result
These addresses are for documentation and sample data, not public services or connectivity checks. Repeats are possible. IPv4 examples use last octets 1 through 254.
