Loading text from a URL is optional and contacts that server; its URL and your IP address are visible to the server. An optional “Use in” action keeps a handoff in this tab. Read the hands on an analog clock

The short hand shows hours and moves gradually toward the next hour. The long hand shows minutes. Each numbered mark is five minutes; the small marks are single minutes. Change the time or move forward and backward by a minute to see how the hands work together.

A worked example

At 3:30 PM, the minute hand points to 6 and the hour hand sits halfway between 3 and 4. The 24-hour reading is 15:30.

Before you use the result

This is a teaching clock that stays at the time you choose. The dial alone does not distinguish AM from PM; use the digital reading. For a running clock, open the world clock.
