Using Height predictor
Calculate the mid-parental adult-height estimate and its broad reference range from both biological parents.
Uses the AAP centimeter formula: add or subtract 13 cm before dividing by two, then show a range of plus or minus 10.2 cm. This is a family-height estimate, not a forecast of an individual child or a growth assessment. It does not use bone age, puberty, illness or the child's measurements.
A worked example
For biological father height (cm) = 180, biological mother height (cm) = 165, mid-parental equation = Boy, mid-parental height estimate (cm) = 179.

Example results for biological father height (cm)
These examples use Biological mother height (cm): 165; Mid-parental equation: Boy. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
