Using Exponential growth calculator
Project compound growth with final = initial × (1 + rate)ⁿ.
Rate is the fractional increase each period, not a continuous growth constant. Period length must stay consistent; fractional periods use the same mathematical model.
A worked example
Example inputs: starting quantity = 100, growth per period (%) = 10, number of periods = 2. Final quantity = 121.

Example results for starting quantity
These examples use Growth per period (%): 10; Number of periods: 2. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Starting quantity | Final quantity |
|---|---|
| 50 | 60.5 |
| 100 | 121 |
| 200 | 242 |
