Edit decision list inspector processes your input in this browser. Inputs and results are excluded from analytics. Recent tools save tool names, visit counts and last-visit times. Saved tools store only their names. Draft saving is optional and stays on this device; delete saved text with the draft controls. Loading text from a URL is optional and contacts that server; its URL and your IP address are visible to the server. An optional “Use in” action keeps a handoff in this tab. Using the edit decision list inspector

Each supported event has an event number, reel, track, the letter C, and four HH:MM:SS:FF timecodes. The tool compares source and record frame spans at the integer frame rate you select. Title lines, non-drop-frame headers and star-prefixed comments are allowed.

A worked example

A cut from 00:00:00:00 to 00:00:01:00 at 24 fps spans 24 frames. The sample’s source and record durations match.

Before you use the result

Cut events only, at integer non-drop-frame rates. Dissolves, speed effects, drop-frame timecode and vendor extensions are rejected. This is an inspection report, not a conforming or media relinking engine.
