Using Derivative calculator
The derivative of c × x^n is n × c × x^(n − 1). Differentiate each polynomial term and combine the results.
Supports polynomials in x through degree 20 with decimal coefficients. This is a polynomial derivative tool, not a general symbolic engine: functions, quotients and parentheses are not supported. Coefficients and evaluated values use floating-point arithmetic.
A worked example
With polynomial in x = 3*x^2 + 2*x + 1, evaluate derivative at x = 2, the derivative is 6x + 2.
