Using Cone volume calculator
Cone volume = π × radius² × height ÷ 3. Slant height = √(radius² + height²).
Assumes a right circular cone. Height is perpendicular to the base, not the sloping side.
A worked example
With radius = 3, height = 4, the cone volume is 37.69911184307752.
Before you use the result
Assumes a right circular cone. Height is perpendicular to the base, not the sloping side.
Example results for radius
These examples use Height: 4. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Radius | Cone volume |
|---|---|
| 1.5 | 9.42477796077 |
| 3 | 37.6991118431 |
| 6 | 150.796447372 |
