Using Aquarium tank weight calculator
Add water mass to the tank, substrate and equipment for a filled-system estimate.
Water mass = litres × supplied kg/L. Density is your assumption, not a measured saltwater or temperature correction. This is not a floor-load, stand-strength or glass-safety assessment.
A worked example
Example inputs: water volume (l) = 100, water density (kg/l) = 1, empty tank mass (kg) = 20, substrate, decor and equipment mass (kg) = 10. Filled system mass (kg) = 130.
Before you use the result

Example results for water volume (l)
These examples use Water density (kg/L): 1; Empty tank mass (kg): 20; Substrate, decor and equipment mass (kg): 10. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
| Water volume (L) | Filled system mass (kg) |
|---|---|
| 50 | 80 |
| 100 | 130 |
| 200 | 230 |
