Spreadsheet compare reconciliation processes your input in this browser. Inputs and results are excluded from analytics. Recent tools save tool names, visit counts and last-visit times. Saved tools store only their names. Draft saving is optional and stays on this device; delete saved text with the draft controls. Loading text from a URL is optional and contacts that server; its URL and your IP address are visible to the server. An optional “Use in” action keeps a handoff in this tab. Spreadsheet compare reconciliation explained

Compare two exported CSV sheets by a key such as an ID. The report separates added records, removed records and changed cells, so a row moving within a sheet is not mistaken for a changed record.

A worked example

An ID 1 amount changing from 10 to 12 appears as a changed amount cell. A new ID 3 appears as an added record, regardless of its row position.

Before you use the result

CSV only; export Excel workbooks to CSV first. Keys must be unique and nonempty in each file. All cells remain text, so 01 and 1 differ. No records are automatically merged.
