Using Lawn mowing calculator
Estimate mowing time from area, effective swath, travel speed and your allowance for turns and obstacles.
Time = area ÷ (width × speed × efficiency). Use net effective width after overlap. Efficiency is a scenario assumption; measured productivity and safety depend on terrain, mower and operator.
A worked example
Example inputs: lawn area (m²) = 1000, effective cutting width (m) = 0.5, travel speed (m/min) = 60, working efficiency (%) = 80. Mowing time (minutes) = 41.6666666667.
Before you use the result
Time = area ÷ (width × speed × efficiency). Use net effective width after overlap. Efficiency is a scenario assumption; measured productivity and safety depend on terrain, mower and operator.
Example results for lawn area (m²)
These examples use Effective cutting width (m): 0.5; Travel speed (m/min): 60; Working efficiency (%): 80. They are reference calculations, not recommended settings.
