English text and Unified English Braille
Uncontracted UEB spells words out; contracted UEB uses contractions. Both modes handle capitals, numbers and punctuation.
The output is Unicode Braille text that you can copy or download. Back-translation can be ambiguous, especially when the original typeform or layout is missing.
A worked example
In uncontracted UEB, abc becomes ⠁⠃⠉ and 123 becomes ⠼⠁⠃⠉. The capital indicator in Hello gives ⠠⠓⠑⠇⠇⠕.
Before you use the result
English UEB text only, up to 5,000 characters. Forward input supports English letters, digits and ASCII punctuation; unsupported characters are reported. This does not lay out pages for an embosser or preserve document formatting. Have important transcriptions checked by a qualified Braille reader.
